DK Studios by Kiran Chandrahasa

Welcome to my Photography Blog.

I was crazy about photography from the time I saw my dad taking candid shots of our family and making home videos for us. He used to play the video on one VCR and music on the other and dub the music into the home videos. I was fascinated by this.

When I got out of college I stole his film camera and I still have it. A Yashica. I made use of this to take pictures of friends, landscapes, cars etc. But never had knowledge of how to take them professionally.

In 2005, I got my first camera phone. It was exciting. I practiced different angles, lights etc and played around with pictures and videos.

In 2007, I bought my first point and shoot camera. A kodak. I lent it to my girlfriend then. We broke up and I never got it back.

I went back to camera phones. They were advanced with effects and flash. Learnt some editing techniques with the phone that helps me now.

In 2007, I started attending different professional photography, video courses and workshops. Couldn't afford one so I borrowed cameras from friends. Learnt a lot about cameras, lights, equipments, techniques and more.

Today, I am a certified photographer and have more than 5 years experience in this field. This is my part time passion and I have worked on different genres. I try to get the best results with whatever I have.
